After arriving at our hotel in Omaha, Grandma & Grandpa and Aunt Ellen came to visit with us for a bit in the evening. Everyone would need a good night of rest to be ready for our big day at the zoo.

vacation memories... arriving in Omaha
On Sunday, we made our way to Omaha, Nebraska. Our plans there were to visit the Henry Doorly Zoo. What was particularly special about our zoo plans is that Steve's family--his parents and his sister--were driving north from Kansas City to join us in Omaha. After our day at the zoo, we all traveled to Kansas City to spend a couple of days together before we would begin our journey back home.
